What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

On My to Read List

Blogging from the Lego store as I watch my son fill up a pick a brick cup.

I finished my handouts for my new online class, Marvel: Your Precious Life, last night. There are more than forty pages in the handout. I'm super excited about the class and can't wait to see what people do with the techniques and ideas! Remember the class is discounted until Saturday!

Heading back home after the mall madness trip. I am hoping to get my class announcements for Frenzy Stamper in AZ and Fremont, CA up this week! I still have to photograph the samples and write the descriptions.

Also on the to do list is prep work for my Ink About It classes in Westford, MA.

I'm a busy elf but it's all good!

I hope that your week is going well!

I'm signed up! Can't wait for your class to start!

I took a peek inside the Paper Cutting book on amazon. Amazing!

Looks like some great reading. Inquiring minds want to know: how did you get Rob Ryan's book, "Sky Full of Kindness" when it is not going to be released until next year (according to Amazon).

Thanks, Kate!

One of my favorite used bookstores had it! I was shocked to see it and scooped it up. They even had it in the graphic novel section. Someone is getting advanced copies and selling them. I couldn't leave it there!

Thanks, Barbara! You'd love it!!!
