What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

18 May 2012 Journal Page

I really enjoyed working on the above page. I forced myself to use colors that I don't normally gravitate towards (purple and green) and I'm quite pleased with how it came out. It not only says what I want it to say but it also feels the way I felt when I made this page in late May. I really love the circle stamp along the bottom of the page (yes, I'm weird like that. It's the little things that make me smile.)

I would really love to attend this class, and maybe if you ever decide to teach it again I'll get there. I live in the UK, but I still wouldn't rule it out in the future, it would be lovely to combine it with sightseeing, I have a lot on this year so it has been difficult but you never know! Love Karenxx

:) thanks, Karen! I don't have plans at the moment to teach it again in So CA but elsewhere, yes! :) Maybe someday I'll get to the U.K.!

I wish you would, but then I might not get to see your country!
