What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

New Washi Tape!

Before I left for Fremont, I had to stock up on several things for classes which I had been running very low on. I decided to place an order from one of my favorite online washi tape vendors, Washimatta. I swear that I blinked and the order was here!

Here's what I ordered:
Chat-Chien Nathalie Lete Tapes
Po Om Po by Lotta Jansdotter for Mark's
My Favorite Hot Pink MT Tape
Classiky Glassine Paper (I've been looking for more printed glassine lately.)

I did not order this but I am lusting over it.

Later on this month, Washimatta is going to be carrying a new Graffiti Series tape by Yoko Inoue. I am already saving for these. When I saw the tapes I almost dropped my phone! They are some of the yummiest tapes that I have ever seen!

Blog Love:
DIY Paper Roses
Taylor Visits the Wonderful World of Ms. Julie Arkell
Uppercase has a new referral program.
Lynda Barry has been Teaching and Sharing Her Lessons Online
Wrapping Paper Tape-these are just cute!
Anne Siems
Poemeraie: Sofia Barao

I'll be teaching five NEW classes this weekend at Frenzy Stamper in Scottsdale! I'm all prepped and ready! I hope to see you there!

Really wishing I could go to AZ! I think we need to start a buying co-op. Y'know 5 people buy one roll of glassine wrapping paper each and then divide it up so everyone has 1/5 of a roll of that color...Lori W at Art Camp for Women

OMG--I love all your tapes! I just bought a set of numbers tapes from Anthropologie which I paid and arm and part of a leg for so the limits me in getting other tapes. Although I do have an order coming from Tapeswell I'm looking forward to. I have been refilling my rub-on stash, buying unmounted Unity texture stamps, stencils and tapes lately. Loving those Balzer Designs stencils right now!! I love your posts but especially the ones where you introduce us to new goodies!! Keep 'em coming!!!

Thanks for sharing your stash and source! Do you have it shipped airmail or EMS? I wondered how safe airmail is, as the cost of EMS is prohibitive for me.

I've had problems with my mail so I ship ems. However, I know several folks who order via airmail and have never had a problem.
