I had fun doing these pages. I don't love the first page (not happy with my journaling...I didn't say everything that I wanted to say) but I LOVE the second page. I've always been a huge fan of partial rub-ons. I have a huge box that I bought years ago in Canada at Ruby Dog (LOVE that store) in Vancouver. I hoard them and use every bit on the sheet. I like the contrast of the pink on brown. I also like how simple the page is.
I finished working on my handmade journals to sell. Now I have to take pictures and write descriptions. That takes the most amount of time, well, not really, but it's the thing I like doing the least. At this point, I'm hoping to have them uploaded on Tuesday night around 7 pm PST. I'll let you know if anything changes!!!
Happy Friday!!!!

Howdy,
Your work is very inspiring. really like the variety and layers on your pages.
Recently I've been collecting and using rubons too. When they work right, it's a great affect.
Peace,

Great pages. Love the brown paper and the little gold circles you used on the left side. Those popped out at me.
I love these pages, too, Kelly. Your partial rub-ons really do add a lot of depth--I have never done this in my own art journaling. Now I have to try! Thanks. Looking forward to Tuesday night to see your hamemade journals! Maybe I can nab one!! ~Kath
Where will you post your handmade journals for sale? I know I'll need to buy at least one!
Love your work and your journal pages!
Hugs, Maggie
I'll be posting the journals to my blog! :)
Thanks!!
