What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Finished Journal Page

I finished the page that I posted the other day. I added more journaling. I always have too much on my mind, too much to spill out. Thankfully, I have my journal to let it all out.

I've spent the weekend prepping for my Frenzy Stamper classes. I'm half done with everything. Yay! I'll have it all finished by Tuesday so I can relax on Wednesday.

Speaking of things almost being done, *fingers crossed* that the apartment work will all be finished this week. This isn't to say that there is still a ton of stuff that needs to be fixed and done (possum still living in the attic for one thing). No, this is to say that the project that started last year and has been ongoing will be finished once they install our new blinds. Tristan and I spent an hour today putting things back in the bathroom (we had to empty it completely last week when they painted it). Other than their crappy, smelly paint job, the bathroom looks good (thanks to Tristan's help!!). I can't wait for the blinds to be installed so I can put up my new curtains and they will leave us the hell alone.
