What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

Happy 12th Birthday, Tristan!

Here's my journal page from last night. I wrote about the day before Tristan's birthday and what we were doing all those years ago...I took these pictures yesterday, his last day of being 11.Last night I stuck the owl posties with Birthday wishes all over the house as a surprise this morning. His Nana arrives tonight. Nothing major planned except the typical cake, presents, etc.. He says he wants to just lay low til we have to pick up Nana, though he does want Mulberry Street pizza so we may go out for that.

Happy Birthday, Tristan! We love you!

I'm going to play around with blogger and try to set some automatic blog posts for while I'm gone.

We're leaving early-that's my plan-tomorrow morning for Frenzy Stamper in Scottsdale. I'm teaching FIVE classes and I can't wait!!!! If you're in the area, check it out. Frenzy Stamper is one of my most favorite stamp stores and places to teach

Have a great time in Scottsdale, Kelly! Wish I could be there - to meet you AND to get away from our snow & cold!

Happy Birthday to Tristan! Exciting times ahead!!

Kelly, here is a tidbit I learned about 12 year old boys -- I have two boys now ages 34 and 30. At age 12 they both forgot all the things I had taught them about picking up dirty clothes, keeping their rooms clean, keeping the house, in general, in a tidy state. Good luck! Remember, it too shall pass. That was my mantra all during their childhoods. LOL!!!

See you tomorrow! Judy B.
