What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Here are two more pages from last night...
This is another sample of my Reclaimed: An Altered Artist's Book. It's small and has a lovely feel to it...It will be going off very very soon to live as a sample for a wee bit in one of the stores:
Tristan's school has been having ART by LACMA the last week. Yesterday they worked with clay (Model Magic). Tristan used to LOVE Model Magic but hasn't used it in awhile. Needless to say he said he was borrowing clay from the other kids when he ran out. I love what he made: A Christmas tree, General Grievious, a slide (with ball), a knight and one of the vehicles from Star Wars. Cool, huh?

I absolutely Love Aprile's work. I just received one of her zines in the mail the other day and I LOVE it!!!!

The Paper Place in Toronto is having an AMAZING contest right now giving away Chiyogami paper pack. I'm drooling at the site of it. Check it out here.

Love your new journal pages!!!!

I'm still jazzed about the on-line class!!! I went out and bought more paper yesterday!!! Have to buy it in the "regular" stores since we don't have any ma and pa stores around here. BTW, I want a seat in the front row too!!!
