Conversations with Cezanne: January 2020
One of the things I'd like to do in the new year is to read more about
artists whose work (and life) I don't know much about. I've heard many
good things about Conversations with Cezanne and as 2019 came to a close, I started
reading it. I'm still early in but I've flipped through it several
times (and I already know that I need a hardcover copy.) Here are some of the gems that I found:
I am eager to read more. I have at least a half a dozen books on Cezanne patiently waiting.
As far as other artists go, I have a list of artists to study as well as a libary of books at my ready. I'll be sharing more as we go throughout the year.
What artists have you read about lately? Any good art books or art history books to share?
