What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Inside Cover if My New Journal

Tristan and I are home. For now. We leave this Wednesday for Boston for two weeks.

We left Art Unraveled at 5:30 a.m. this morning. It looked like all of the artists were still snug in their beds but the golfers were up and out at 5 a.m.

I had a great time (as always.) We got home in time to unload, return the rental car, run to Trader Joe's, unpack some more and take a one hour power nap. I woke up in time to make dinner and then spent about two hours tearing paper down for my MA and NY classes (this coming weekend and next.) I'm all set for my East Coast classes. I just need to order cardstock. I have my fingers crossed that everything fits in the suitcases. I may take a picture of it all tomorrow. I love Southwest's policy of two bags per passenger as that allows me to schlep four bags when Tristan flies with me. Fingers crossed big time.

I'm off to eat ice cream, watch Ebert Presents at the Movies (we have about three weeks of films to catch up on) and veg. Happy Sunday!

That sounds like one busy day. I'm crossing my fingers for you too. Shelby flew Southwest this summer and had no problem with them. They were much better than Delta. Safe travels again.
