What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Two of the pages I made at the track yesterday...

I made these yesterday at the track:I'll show you the next few pages over the next couple of days. :)

I've been reading this FABULOUS book that Christine Mason Miller recommended called The Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life. I am totally loving it. It was one of my Christmas presents and I LOVE it. Ask David. I was in bed last night under nine gazillion blankets still in my warm bathrobe and comfy bath and body works socks (and still freezing) reading the book laughing and saying "I DO THAT!!" Thanks Christine. Thanks Nasty Armhole, I mean Hearty Salmon...I mean, Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Amy has a website for the book, here as well. While you're ordering Amy's book, make damn well sure you get Christine's book if you haven't already...

Ok - I'm impressed. How did you do so much at the track? How did you transport supplies and manage them on your lap? This is beyond ordinary abilities.........

I was wondering the same thing as Meri! How do you do it? I'm doing all I can do art journal in my bed at night (across the hall from my studio)...and here you are, creating beautiful pages at the track? How do you do it?
Peace & Love,

Love your pages. How awesome, esp the one that looks like it folds out. You go girl with your art supplies at the track. :D

LOL I sit and do it. :) Making art makes me happy so I do what makes me happy ;)

Everything else still manages to get done. There are multiplying dust bunnies under the bed but no matter what-there will always be dust bunnies. I gotta make me some art!
