I'm always looking for ideas that combine art & life. 

 

Ideas that change how I see and experience the world around me, that, in fact, change me. 

 

You don't have to travel far to experience a life changing journey. Adventure awaits you in your studio, at a cafe, or on your lunch break all you need is a glue stick, a few favorite paint markers and the desire to play. There is always something new to discover. 

 

 

In this very special workshop, learn how to take every day experiences and make magic from them in the form of paper, color and texture. Create pocket sized art in the form of mini paper journals or postcards (we will brainstorm a variety of  ideas.) 

 

Looking for guidance in collage, painting, mark making, and journaling?  

 

Eager to explore something different?

 

This art will inspire and guide you.

Keep your materials simple: 

• card stock/paper to create your journal/postcards
• tools: brushes, glue stick/adhesive, scissors, metal ruler, bone folder, paper towels, water container (to clean your brushes)
• paint (I'm using acrylic in a handful of colors)
• collage ephemera
• pencils, crayons, paint markers (mark making tools)
• You may choose more or less in your own toolkit.

 

Upon registration, you'll receive an email with some ideas on how to prep for the workshop

 

Can't make the live workshop?

 

The main part of my workshops are always recorded. For those who are camera shy, during the main part of the workshop I am pinned and students are muted (but, encouraged to unmute and ask questions!)  

 

Additionally, before and after the session, there is time for students to ask questions, share, and engage with each other and me, WHILE NOT BEING RECORDED.

 

You'll receive a special link and an extensive class handout within 2 days after the workshop ends.

 

You'll also have access to me should you have any questions AFTER the workshop end.

Enrollment for the live workshop is limited.

 

 I like to keep the group small so everyone has time to ask questions and share.
