NEW WORKSHOP: The Masks We Wear Art Journaling and MORE 25 October 2025
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth."
-Oscar Wilde
NEW Workshop:
The Masks We Wear:
Art Journaling, Painting, and More
Saturday, 25 October 2025
11 AM to 1 PM PDT
$65
Masks.
We all wear them. Some fit better than others.
What's behind the mask? Or rather, who?
Gather a handful of your favorite art supplies and carve out some time.
Shall we lift the veil or try on a new mask?
You decide in this playful, exploratory deep dive using an array of mediums:
drawing, writing, painting, collaging, and much more.
ALL levels are welcome.
The goal isn't to finish.
The goal is to explore, discover, and reveal.
The goal is to create a spark that ignites and burns bright within you.
"Know, first, who you are, and then adorn yourself accordingly." -Epictetus
Keep
your materials simple:
- scrap paper/journal/substrate of choice
- tools: brushes, painting knife/catalyst tool/credit card paper towels, water container (to clean your brushes)
- paint (I'm using acrylic in a small handful of colors)
- collage materials, adhesive, ruler/scissors, rag/paper towels, something to glue on
- mark making/writing tools: pencils, paint markers, etc...
Upon registration, you'll receive an email with some ideas on how to prep for the workshop.
Can't make the live workshop?
The
main part of my workshops are always recorded. For those who are camera
shy, during the main part of the workshop I am pinned and students are
muted (but, encouraged to unmute and ask questions!)
Additionally,
before and after the session, there is time for students to ask
questions, share, and engage with each other and me, WHILE NOT BEING
RECORDED.
You'll receive a special link and an extensive class handout within 2 days after the workshop ends.
You'll also have access to me should you have any questions AFTER the workshop ends.
Enrollment for the live workshop is limited.
I like to keep the group small so everyone has time to ask questions and share.
