I hope to get out to see her place at some point when I am finally living out that way in a few months. When I first started painting back in the 1970's, she was my very first influence. She was still alive and still painting......All my paintings had her mark on them. My flowers, my mountains. You name it. I read everything about her life. Her realationships. It took me down a rabbit hope of reading about Stigleitz, Luhan, DH Lawrence. You name it. <br />After a while I became influenced by other artists and she slipped into the background.
