I do appreciate them.

Karenann,

Usually I do a page in one go-collage and then write. Sometimes I run out of time and do it in bits. 99.9% of my journals are done like that.

However, it's all about what works best for you. You may prefer to collage several pages and then write later. I like page by page. It's all good though! :)

KellyKelly Kilmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07002300626700548709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21078238.post-297094037999146582011-05-03T10:24:50.589-07:002011-05-03T10:24:50.589-07:00I'm wondering about something. I've taken a couple of your on-line classes and for the life of me, I can't remember this. When you first start a journal, do you create images, paint, etc. first to fill up the journal, or do you do the painting, pasting, etc. everyday and then write what you want in it for that day. Hope this makes sense. Most of the time, something comes up that I want to write about but I don't have a journal page ready to write about it. Any thoughts?Karenann Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08718221041087000905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21078238.post-48535121010308435812011-05-03T09:43:36.951-07:002011-05-03T09:43:36.951-07:00We are most definetely on the same page. I've started an Artist Journal to illustrate in watercolor my trip to Italy a few years ago. I also kept a FULL bag full of maps, photos, receipts, tickets, etc. to add to the book also. But, I also used handcarved stamps, a brayer to roll on acrylics, transfers from gel medium, watercolor sketches, photos, etc. I think mine is an artist's journal AND a scrapbook, and I love it!Kathi Flyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14028460219790139684noreply@blogger.com
