The Journal Experience: A Master Class
Supply list: a journal , an apron (or wear clothes that you don't mind possibly getting paint on), scissors, a selection of favorite collage ephemera (think about reading this when choosing your images. Try to limit your selection to a large gallon size ziploc bag. Think maybe ten to twelve focal images and 2 dozen pieces of background paper to use.), cork back metal ruler, a few pieces of paper towels OR an old rag, a couple of your favorite paint brushes, an old food container to hold paint water that you can toss after class, a few of your favorite glue sticks (one extra large glue stick will last you longer), an old catalog or magazine to glue on (if you don't want to use all of your waxed paper for this) and a couple of pieces of waxed paper (to put in your journal when you are done so the pages don't stick and to use as a palette.)
Juicy Journal Pages:
After awhile, we will step back and think about our pages. Learn to look and process your pages with new eyes. We'll then rework our pages into all new original journal pages.
I hope to see YOU there!
