Books About (Non Visual) Journaling

For the past twenty years, I have been collecting books about journaling. The majority of these books were picked up in my travels at various used bookstores across the U.S. The titles that you see posted here are specifically non visual journal keeping. I've tried as much as possible to leave artist's journals and books about art journaling off of this list. I have also kept published letters off of the list. There are a few exceptions.

Love your lists, Kelly. Some super interesting titles listed! Would Nick Bantocks books fit in there somewhere, even though they are fiction? Maybe a fictional journaling list. You could also include Foolsgold by Susan Wooldridge (one word, not to be confused with the series by wellerly) https://www.amazon.com/Foolsgold-Something-Nothing-Freeing-Creative-ebook/dp/B001PSEQGA/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1465407430&sr=1-1&keywords=foolsgold
I have about 75% of these, plus a lot more! I'm happy to be in such great company.❤️ Wow, we have a lot in common.

The first book I looked for in your post was "The Creative Journal" by Lucia Capacchione, because it's my favorite, too. My friend Zura recommended it, back in 2005. It was my first introduction to the concept of an art journal, and a validation of the natural attempts I made at art journaling at that point. And the questions in it are so powerful. I even brought my copy to the 2 classes I did get to teach, and showed it and talked about it.

I have her book "The Power of the Other Hand", but I haven't read anything except the first few pages. Have you read it?
