Still Waiting

One month and eight days and a lot of waiting. The results came back as inconclusive. More waiting. No definite diagnosis. Not sure what all of this means but we are seeing two doctors this week. We are hopeful for more answers.

If you've ordered something from me (except for the new collage sheets), it went out via USPS today. The (new) collage sheets will be ordered on March 17th so you have until March 16th to place the order. I don't plan on ordering extras so if you are interested, please get them while you can. I also have one book left if you want it, get it while you can. Again, big thanks and giant hugs to everyone who has helped. I can't say THANK YOU enough. It's a stressful, limbo-like time and I appreciate the love and support.

I am teaching this Saturday at Pnina's Studio in San Diego. There are a couple of seats left if you are interested. I sent out my samples today for Scrapbooking Forever in Westlake Village in April and The Queen's Ink in Maryland for May. Folks keep asking if I'm teaching and YES, YES, YES is my answer. We're not independently wealthy and teaching feeds my soul (and us!) and keeps me sane.

For now, remaining hopeful, turning towards each other and what we love to keep us focused.

My heart goes out to yout family in this difficult situation but I'm really glad you are seeing more doctors. Additional opinions can sometimes be essential. Here's just one of several personal experiences. Two years ago I had a very small (size of a dot made by an ordinary pencil) but very painful sore spot in a private area. After seeing a P.A. and two M.D.s. over a period of about a month, all I ended up with were three wrong, unhelpful diagnoses and treatment suggestions. Finally, after two more months, the third M.D. (who I had to wait for an app't with) immediately diagnosed my problem visually and treated it right there in her office. Whole process took five minutes. Pain completely gone by the time I got home. I don't mean to imply that your husband's condition is as minor as mine luckily turned out to be but rather to encourage you not to give up and not to be too surprised when you continue to have to take an active role.
