Inspiration

Last week I was driving home with my husband when I spotted a new store window with an insane display. I drove around the block, parked in front, jumped out and snapped photos. The next day I cracked open my journal to draw some of the images and play with a new color combination. The other day I went to an art opening. A couple of days later I had these tiny little repetitive marks made in my journal. It took me a minute to remember where I had seen something like them.

We are surrounded by inspiration. A line on the sidewalk. Colors in a garden. Patterns in a fashion magazine. Text on a movie poster. Ideas that spark and fuel our creativity.

How will you use that spark today?

Wow, I dearly wish that I could see the world through your eyes. I guess it takes a lifetime of practice.

You are absolutely right, Kelly. Inspiration and miracles are all around us if we are open.

Lottie, The more you keep your eyes open, the more you will see. :) It's all about how you see things. We're all lifelong learners and we need to remember that. :)

Fran, :)

Hi Kelly, How did you do the tears? Were they already in the picture? Did you enhance them?
