6 October 2013 Journal Page

I had major email problems yesterday (thanks, AT&T/yahoo/sbcglobal.) Almost 12 hours without email coming in or out (it was a worldwide problem I found out.) I think that I'm all caught up (a day's worth of email finally started coming in last night.) If you sent me an email yesterday and I haven't responded, please send it again.

I know that this tends to be a time of year for a lot of sadness and stress. I'm trying to channel all of my mixed emotions onto my journal pages. I'm very thankful to have an outlet. I wish that more folks would open themselves up to it.

Time seems like it's going by faster and faster these days. I'm trying to slow down and hold onto what I can. I've been juggling a multitude of projects lately but I always make the time for what fills my heart and opening up my book for some quiet me time after a long day is still a priority. Even gluing down something or adding a bit of pen work to a page is better than nothing at all.

One thing that I'm taking the time to do before the year ends is Susannah Conway's wonderfully free gift that she offers online every year. It's called Unraveling the Year Ahead 2014. I've never met Susannah. I just adore her blog, instagram posts as well as her book (I passed my copy along to my Mother who loved it as well.) She has a wonderful way of being open and honest. If you aren't familiar with her work, I thought I'd pass it along.

Very wise words and I will take them 'on board'

I will also have a look at and start following Susannah's web site.
Oh I love Susannah Conway, too, Kelly! Thanks for the reminder to check this out. And thank you so much for your kind message the other day. I am thankful for you, and I wish you peace this holiday season, as you get together with family and friends you love...and hold loved ones who can't be with you, in your heart. I am so so grateful for my journals too...

Just downloaded this year's Unraveling packet. Last year was my first time Unraveling and I loved it. Can't wait to dive into it!

Yep I had the same email issues yesterday. It stunk as could not see what my son was emailing me as to what he wanted as a gift from us for Christmas. He kind of shopped for himself as a result. Need to journal more. Maybe tomorrow?
