13 July 2013 Journal Page

I share my work on my blog to encourage others. I'm not fishing for compliments or sympathy or anything. With my journal pages, I'm stating a fact, my truth. I am not the only one having a hard time finding work (for me that means places to teach.) I am grateful for having an outlet (art journaling) where I can process my feelings and thoughts.

I, for one, am very glad you post such pages - I find them very inspiring. Instead of wallowing in self pity, here is way being demonstrated to us to get those downer thoughts out of our heads and onto paper. Doesn't solve anything of course, but I'm sure it helps our feelings and emotions to cope with things a little easier.

Seeing you journal about things like this helps and encourages me to do it too.
