What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Bringing Home the Goods

I was a bit of a bad girl last night. Just a bit. I found book goodies at Stuart Ng and Last Gasp. I saw lots of comics that are on my wishlist, too, from Drawn and Quarterly, Top Shelf and Fantagraphics. I focused on the (somewhat unusual stuff) last night and was a very happy camper.

We're up very early and in line to get into the convention center. Ballroom 20 for X-Files is our goal today. Tristan will be off in search of all things LEGO and DC. Those damn minifigures are #1 on his list and LEGO made less of them this year than they have in previous years. Please wish my boy good luck! ;)

Have fun! I am a big Walking Dead fan, so can't wait to hear about that.... I always enjoy reading your posts about CC, even though I don't know much about most of it - your posts are so interesting!!!! Beth

Just took the car to the shop for a trip check preparatory to driving to Loveland next week. Most of my driving is within 20 miles of home so Loveland seems like an excursion.
