Honesty

I always try to be honest in everything that I do and that includes art journaling. I've never been one of those folks who say that art journaling should only be about the positive. Life isn't always rainbows and gummy bears. It can be pretty damn hard and it's nice to have an outlet and a place to process it.

I'm really looking forward to teaching at a new store (for me!!) tomorrow. I'll be at Kept Creations in Whitman, MA and I'm all packed, prepped and ready to go. Lots of tips and tricks up my sleeve.

I hope that whatever you're doing this coming weekend that you can stop and find a little bit of you time. Even if it's five minutes to glue something down...

Happy Thursday!

An art journal can have many purposes, but I agree with you about using it to process feelings, occurrences, behaviors, etc. To me, this is the best way to use an art journal and honesty is a priority in doing this. I know I appreciate your sharing your pages that are less than "positive" and are totally honest. It can be hard to do that, to open yourself up, but it is a wonderful example for others to follow. Thank you so much!
