What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for over seventeen years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

13 April 2013 Journal Pages

I know that I've mentioned it before but I thought I'd point out again that yes, you can color your rub-ons! I use Pilot Latte pens (it looks like Jetpens only has a few individual colors in stock right now) and/or Sakura Glaze or Souffle pens. I've also used the same pens to color my stickers, tape, transparencies, etc... It's great when you want to use something but it's not the right color. Pull out the pens and voila! More on what the Glaze and Souffle do here.

Make sure you stop by the blog tomorrow as I'm part of a blog hop contest and you may win a new DVD!

All prepped and ready for my new class, Joie de Vivre this Sunday at Stampin from the Heart. If you're coming, please remember your x-acto knife and cutting mat. I am very excited about this new class as it's unlike anything I've ever done before. I'm writing the handout now and I'm all jazzed about it. Be prepared to step outside the box in this class (and have fun while you do so!)

Hi Kelly:
Love your colors in these two pages...all coordinated and pleasing together with the images.
Thanks for posting everyday. I look forward to checking your blog everyday.
