What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

Paper Love

This is a small selection of the papers that I picked up at Artist and Craftsman in Los Angeles for my classes this weekend in Fremont (there are a couple of seats left.) I cut all of the handmade paper last night for classes. I still have to cut the paper for the pages as well as print the handouts!

Since it's a long holiday weekend, I'm going to hold my Valentine's contest open for one more day. I'll pick a winner sometime tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. You must comment on my "Happy Hearts Day" post from Thursday (2/14 which is here) to enter the contest. I may be picking more than one winner and you don't know what the prizes are...

Love the papers - something about an assortment brings out the best in each pattern. xo

I totally preferred the odds when I was the only comment.

Thanks everyone!

@Sue I'm not sure. They do have a website but I'm not sure how it works with ordering papers...

@Maxine, you weren't the first person to comment on that post. I spent most of Valentine's Day out of the house and away from the computer. Since comments are moderated by me, it may look like no one had commented yet but there were quite a few comments before yours. :) Just so you know! Comments are posted in order as to how they come in (I have no control over that!)
Thanks for stopping by! :)
