A Glimpse Into a Beautiful Necessity

I've posted a couple of pages from this journal before but I haven't posted ALL of the pages until now. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be posting them to my blog for you to enjoy. This little book went across the country with me (on a plane, train and a car or two) I really enjoyed working in it. I mostly worked from a ziploc bag loaded with a glue stick, a few favorite pens and a small selection of collage ephemera. Yes, the book opens on two ends. It's called a dos-a-dos book.

Hi, Kelly -- I just love the soft colors in your journal. They're gorgeous. Do you use watercolor crayons to color in the backgrounds before you add the collage ephemera? Thanks so much.

Thanks, Krissy. If I use watercolor crayons, I tend to collage first and then add them.

Flow is my absolute favorite magazine. I'm so glad they are going international now. I've sent more then one copy to oversea friends to show them what they were missing. ;-)

I. Bought a copy of Flow and was absolutely knocked out by it. I called my girlfriend and told her to buy it and she loved it too. It is a real treasure.
