What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Prepping Like a Loon...

for my upcoming workshops! Above are papers for Saturday's Sacred Place class at Banana Rose in Westlake Village. Both classes (teaching Listen to Your Heart at Stampin from the Heart on Sunday) are a go this weekend. I will not be teaching locally at all in So CA until very late September as I'm bringing my classes on the road (MA, NYC, AZ and CO) so catch 'em while you can!
I played hooky this morning as David wanted to see The Amazing Spider-Man. It was fun! I could definitely see Sam Raimi's influence on the reboot. There were a few things that I could nitpick but all in all, it was a fun flick to see! Back to cutting paper for me!

This will be me tomorrow. Gathered everything together and will have a mad prepping session for this weekend's pair of bookbinding classes.

Good to know about Spiderman. I'm def. a fan, and even have a signed pic from Rami from the first run. I try not to point out ALL the issues with comic book movies, but I know you read comics, too (or at least have a knowledge of them past just seeing films) so I may give it a shot.

Plus, my brother's in love with the guy playing Peter in this one. *grin*
