What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Wanderlust Slideshow

The pages in the above journal are all folded. They fold up, out and down. I loved working in this book as it traveled with me across the U.S. to MA, NY and AZ.

Beyond amazing and beautiful pages, LOVE them. I adore the way you used layers and then a bold image with it, I want to experiment with that and hopefully learn from you when you do a class here!

This makes my hands itch... I have serveral art journals going - even a big 'album cover' one that folds out, but a girl can never have enough. I might make me a small 'folding' journal as well - thanks for the inspiration!

This is wonderful! I love poring over the luscious detail in your work! Can't wait till your next online workshop starts!

I noticed that you used Picassa for your slide. Are you happy with it? I had problems with Vimeo last time and am thinking of switching.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm excited about the online workshop, too. I've been pouring everything into it so I hope that YOU guys like it. :) I loved the journal that I made and the pages that I did using the prompts and ideas and I'm very eager to see how others translate them!

David set up the picasa thing for me and I haven't had any problems. It's fairly straight forward and easy to use. I've used it for more than 6 years now.

I hope this helps!
