What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

28 September 2011 Journal Page

I loved playing around with this page. It has exactly the feel that I was going for using bits and pieces of scrap papers, tissue, tape, rub-ons, alphabet stamps and more.

I have two new classes lined up this weekend:

21st Stampin From The Heart L.A. La Petite Muse

22nd Zinnia So Pasadena A Beautiful Life

There are samples online and in the stores. If you have any questions, please email me!

Next weekend I am trekking to No CA (Oakland) to teach five classes that I'm super excited about! I've never taught in Oakland before and I'm really looking forward to it. Any trip up North is a good thing to me! I'm still trying to decide if I can leave a day early or not and have fun in my favorite haunts. There's still room in the classes but don't want too long to sign up!

I am a busy bee this week with a full schedule that includes ortho appointments for my boy, movie outings with the family, teaching and working on new class handouts! Busy is good!

Too funny, but I roasted pumpkin seeds today! the boy carved this awesome man eating zombie pumpkin and he saved the seeds for me. They're one of my fave things about autumn. LOVE how your journal page came out. Very soulful and heart felt...
