What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

15 September 2011 Journal Page

A short blog post today as I've got a sick boy on my hands.

A huge thanks to all of you who take the time to stop in and see what's new. For those of you who leave comments, I try to comment privately if you leave your email. I appreciate you stopping by!

A quick note on the spread above. I've been taping odd things into this journal. Above you'll see a brown waxed paper sandwich bag from Whole Foods that holds some recent finds in it.

Sending healing energy to Tristan... must be all those germs at school.
Cool use of that bag on that page!

I hope Tristan will be feeling better soon. It's hard when our young ones are sick.

I'm loving this journal and everything you're doing to it. Thanks for sharing the pages.

Hope you get some rest.

Feel better, Tristan. The weather that changes from flannel shirt to tank top in about a day, and then changes back, is at fault, I know.

Sending healing energy for your son and you too. Your pages look so mysterious with that waxy paper. Love it!

Hope Tristan feels better soon! Love your journal pages, as always. Would show you some of my recent ones, but I'm lazy and don't feel like booting up the scanner.and my digital camera met with an accident while off with the boys in Niagara Falls, so it's the scanner or nothing. For now, being the lame ass blogger that I am, it's nothing.... LOL

The bag looks cool! Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the JetPens tip. I ordered from them recently and liked them also (acuriouskat.com, if you like seeing what pens people get as much as I do!)
