What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for almost twenty years now. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

Colorado and Arizona, here I come!

Paper, boards and canvas are cut. Bags are packed (I have three bags of tape alone.) Handouts are printed and packed. I have the rental car ready (and partially packed. Yes, there's more in the trunk than what's in the picture. You can't ever say that I travel light!) I have my clothes, journal bag and reading material ready to go. The only thing missing is Dad! We'll pick him up in Las Vegas tomorrow. We are hoping to make it to the UT/CO border by tomorrow night. I'll be blogging from the road. Looking forward to seeing my friends and meeting new faces!

Enjoy the trip! We were just in Vegas a few weekends ago. Do you plan on staying any, or are you just grabbing your dad and going? I'm not much for the Vegas scene, but I picked up all kinds of fun ephemera there! lol

Maija, I hope to see you at AU!
Thanks, Missy!
Our plan is to pick up Dad and maybe grab lunch (depending on the time) before heading out. I am not a Vegas fan either. I don't gamble or drink and the only shows I would probably go to occured years ago (Dean Martin, Sinatra, etc...). I know I'm boring. ;)
