Pages From My New Journal

Happy Spring! Yeah, I know, I'm a day late and a dollar short, but what else is new??

Above are two pages from my latest journal. The one on the left is finished. I'll show you the finished page on the right tomorrow.

It was a wet, rainy, stay at home as much as possible in your pjs as the rain poured down kind of weekend. I baked. I worked in my journal. I did some work. I watched films. I updated my workshop blog:

I have my classes listed through June there. I'm teaching two workshops this weekend at Zinnia in South Pasadena and Stampin From the Heart in L.A. I haven't taught in almost a month and I am REALLY looking forward to teaching this weekend especially since these two classes are two of my favorites!!

Speaking of classes, I am traveling to Frenzy Stamper in Scottsdale April 8-10th. Yes, VERY SOON! I'm trying to get the word out that I have not one, but FIVE NEW workshops that I am beyond super excited about. I have lots of new ideas and techniques to share. The samples are in the store (and online at the workshop link). You can always email me if you have questions. To sign up, please contact Debbie at Frenzy Stamper.

One of the things I did this weekend was something that I haven't done in a very, very long time! I started a book at 11:45 p.m. and read until finishing it at 3:50 a.m. What book would be so good that I couldn't put it down? It was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I found out about the book from my friend, Tracy, who when describing it sighed and clasped her hands to her chest. I knew it had to be that good, and it was.

It's a full steam ahead kind of week, but after the rain comes sun and with rain and sun combined comes bright, green Southern California and a gorgeous Spring Season. Keep your eyes open for inspiring colors that are abundant this time of year! Translate them to journal pages and art. There is inspiration everywhere!!

This spread is wonderful, Kelly..... I want those boots... and the skirts -- well, what I really want is to be the cute little person living in your book. Wouldn't that be fun?
