One of my favorite radio shows to listen to every Saturday night is Henry Rollins on KCRW. The range of music that he exposes his audience to is mind expanding...it's definitely my style of listening to music (which is usually all over the place. Ask anyone who's even driven with me in a car with satellite radio. One minute I'm listening to big band, the next to hair bands to punk to 60's...). Lately he's been playing a band called Deerhoof. If I could find a place to fix my record player (we need a new needle) I'd buy their new album (yes, I said album as in VINYL) as the thing is PINK. I'm old school and love (and miss) the sound of an album playing on a turntable. Check out Henry's playlist and listen to the show here.

I LOVE the sound of an album too, all the little pops and hisses an album makes are just special for some reason. CD's are great, but there's nothing like an album!

LOVE this journal page!!!!!

Kelly, You would love the "Ion Audio Profile Pro LP Vinyl Converter and USB Turntable".

We have nearly 1000 vinyl albums and got one for my granddaughter at Xmas...it is freaking AWESOME Kelly! You can play your vinyl AND convert to MP3s! And it's so affordable!!!
