What You'll Find Here

I post daily (photos of my journal pages, things that inspire me and personal bits and pieces) to inspire and encourage others. I have always believed that if I can do it, so can you.

You'll find resources (my favorite supplies, books, slideshows of my art journal pages, favorite bloggers, etc...) listed along the right hand side of my blog.

I've been teaching both in person and online workshops for more than twenty years. You can find out more about my classes by scrolling down along the right hand side of my blog. I strive to make classes accessible to everyone (both beginner to advanced).

I love teaching and truly believe that deep down inside everyone is an artist, capable of creating something. There is power and knowledge in the act of creating something with your own hands, made from your own heart and head.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at EGorey99@sbcglobal.net

Thanks for stopping by!

21 May 2010 journal page

Just a tiny bit of Blog Love today, you know, to make you larf, 'cause some days you bloody well just need to:

Monty Python's Youtube channel
I like the clips where Eric Idle responds to your comments/questions, though I'll confess (shocker) I haven't watched ALL of the clips yet (me??? not watch a Michael Palin clip??? Well, not yet!). Give me a few days and they'll all be watched. The show, those clips, I've seen...love Python.
(How can one not??!?)

Pssst, I only have one in person class left this month. It's this Sunday at Stampin From The Heart in L.A. Catch it while you can 'cause you know, once I teach a class in a certain location, I don't repeat!

Did I tell you that I'm trekking to the Artists' Nook in Colorado next month? Or, that I'm going to Art Unraveled in August in AZ? Then, wait, not one but SEVERAL classes in Massachusetts at Ink About It in Westford, MA and at Susan's Studio in Whitman, MA??? Well, I am! I'm SUPER excited about my upcoming summer classes. More info on the workshop blog! Don't say that I didn't tell you... ;)

Sounds like you are having a summer of fun! I went to Art Unraveled a few years back and had a blast and made lots of fun new friends. Be sure to stock up on Gatorade, sunscreen, and gauzy light-weight clothing. Oh, and bring pocket money for side trips to Sedona and Jerome.
