Book Love:
I posted about The Book of Awesome being on my wish list. I did buy and I LOVE it. What I really like about it is that it shows how human, and how very much the same we all are. I've been reading it the last few nights and just cracking up laughing or smiling over the writings. Simple little things like memories of playing on really old playground equipment, or eating lunches that are packed in really old tupperware or putting potato chips inside sandwiches. It's the little things that matter the most in our lives. It's the little things that really unite us, in the big picture of it all. It's the little things that make us realize how very much we have in common with our neighbors. Blog here.

Would you also believe it's chock full of ideas that are perfect for journaling???

Kelly, did you know that I never read one of your blog posts that I don't go to every single link you share? You have led me to the most fabulous spaces on the 'net...and this entry is no exception. I am already gearing up to grab my paper plate holders to spray paint in my journal with. ;)
You're the best...thank you!
Peace & Love,
~Barb~

Hey! How cool to find myself among today's link offerings. I clicked on it assuming I was going somewhere else that happened to relate to the title of my own blog post. A pleasant surprise, indeed :)
Here's the difference in generations! I remember sandwiches packed in wax paper - never dreaming at the time that 50 years later I'd consider it an art supply! LOL

I love that you write what you feel on your blog and I hope you never change. Like you said, you wouldn't be you. I love this page.

Great links and I also want that book. I also have always put my chips in my sandwich, esp. tuna. So good.

fantastic page
I've been called racist, told I'm not spiritually evolved and that I'm stupid for expressing things.
It's nice to see someone else speak up also and is not afraid to do so.
