January 13 journal page

My new favorite blog, Pronoun Trouble. I'm very partial to the author. Well written. Well researched. It flows and moves like a film. Honest. Totally totally the author-100%. Listening to the interview posted on it now.

I am thinking of writing a love letter to the two new colors of Sakura's Glaze pens...the red deserves it's own special lust letter. Yes, it's that worthy. I can't stop using it since it came in the mail yesterday. Sakura's new red glaze pen spells L O V E. Put them on your want list now. Scoop them up in droves so that they MAKE MORE NEW COLORS. I frigging love their pens.

Do you detailing with your glaze
or do you write words (as in journaling)?

I tried the souffle and was frustrated with the dry time. I also tried writing and it smeared being a lefty.

I wish I could use them to color in a Dover coloring book but the liquid pools out in a bigger blob than I anticipated.

I wanted to thank you for showing us glimpses of your journals and for sharing great new products to try and use - especially your pen reviews and these overlays.

I am in love.

Thank you - and I better go thank Rice for her podcast that made me wander over this way!

Tasha-I write with the pens, draw, doodle, and do other things with them too!

The drying time isn't that bad. They take longer because they're supposed to dry "raised" the slower you write, the more "embossed" they become.

Use them in your coloring book with your fingers!!! Seriously-color in one area and then rub the color in with your fingers. It's so cool!!!

Maybe I am slow or impatient or both. What is the other new color besides red?

Love the page on the right. And that flip-out is such a great effect.
This is good to know, Kelly.
