Do you know about Amazon's "Vine Program"? Hmm...think twice before you choose a book based on an Amazon "customer" review. They might not be consumers, but folks who are getting paid in books. Another review of the program here.

I've always wondered about those reviews, Kelly. It's too bad we can't believe them now.

All of your pages are just spectacular! Wish I was joining my friends, Lori, Toni and Rita in Phoenix for your workshop!!!

Your pages just keep getting better and better. I could loose myself in your blog photos.

I didn't know about Amazon but will be leary now and I usually don't pay attention to them most of the time, I read what the book's about and if I like it I'll get it.

Your class looks like so much fun. I hope you and the students have a blast.

i bought an unknown book based on a review once -- and it was terrible -- nothing like the review at all!!! It was poorly written and was incestuous and made me feel creepy-dirty just by reading it. I won't do that again :)

This is really nothing new, review sites usually get so many ARCs in exchange for reviews. But the reviews are can be good or bad. Romantic Times is a whole magazine dedicated to romance novel reviews and they get them way in advance. It is only a problem if they are expected to write good reviews. If they are giving their honest opinion then good for them getting it free.
