November 23 journal page and contest!

I won a Pay It Forward contest via Amy's fabulous My Pointe of View blog the other day. Thank you so very very much, Amy!!! If you leave a comment ON THIS POST ONLY between now and Sunday, December 13th at 8 p.m. PST, I will also choose 3 random winners to send surprise gifties to. Even if you don't have a blog or whatever-you can comment under "anonymous" and leave your name and city. I'll be announcing the winners on the 14th, so you can check back then.

I love these damn Penguin classics books, but hate paying that much for something that is in the public domain. Their new hardcover editions are GORGEOUS.

***

Camilla Engman's book, published by Uppercase, arrived last night. Oh. My. This is quite the amazing tome. It definitely is one of the most delicious art books I have ever been privy to feasting my eyes upon. I don't know whether to devour it now or to savor it slowly, and save it for my upcoming travels. Check out Camilla's blog here.
Uppercase, they sure know how to publish a book (and a magazine, too!) I have almost everything they've ever published (except the Shatner book, though it is on my wish list).

Tapeswell is looking for design ideas for new TAPE. Check it out here.

Hey Kelly, I'm loving the links you have today! Entered in the Tapewell contest too. I want an EKG type tape showing the spiky heartbeat.

Wow, what a beautiful page! Are the colour patches paint or pieces of paper? I always have difficulties writing on it from one paper to another.
I just found your blog this week and like it a lot. Thank you for all the inspiration.

Post!

Penguin loves repetitive covers, but those look so much nicer than the plain and predictable orange from before!

And, thanks for chance to win something.

This goes w/o saying but I LOVE your blog - check it every day to see what you have to say, check out new books, supplies and most of all, to see your amazing journal pages. It really brightens my day every time. Hope you are doing well in chilly CA!! Funny to hear everyone talking about the cold in CA when we've hit below-zero temps in CO every day for five days now. Guess it's all relative huh? Stay warm(hee,hee..)

Kelly, I really love this journal page. Are those gogi berries? The bright red is a great contrast with the lettering on top of it... the letters almost look embossed.

Thanks for sharing all the great links and your favorite sites. I've explored so many more sites than I would have ever thought possible because of your great suggestions. Thanks!
