Thanks, Kelly! I need more time, too. If anyone could find out where to buy it, surely it would be you! As always, love all your "stuff."

Um, Kelly, you know I love you to pieces, but why a big **SHIT** on your journal page on x-mas?? I have had enough of the yukky and loss this year without a giant SHIT staring me in the face. If you really want to be cool , like a New Yorker, we use F*** in every other sentence. Maybe for new year you could do a page that says Happy F*** New Year!! Kind of book end the obscenity. Please, you are better than this. I love me a swear word, but not here, not on this day.

Prayers going out to the captured soldier in the hands of the Taliban. We have you in our hearts.

Thanks for the cool links.

Sorry, I publish the pages in order and it ended up that way. I apologize. It's still how I feel though-I need more time (we all do) and was overwhelmed when I did that page just as I am at the moment running out the door to visit family.
Hope everyone is having a good holiday whatever it may be.

I have done my best to run the opposite direction of any type of conflict but seeing the reference to your choice of words on your journaling pages posted today, I had to chime in. You (we) are entitled to say what we want to say (or NEED to say) in our journals. You are kind enough to share your journaling with us and you are entitled to say whatever it is that you are feeling at the moment. (And btw, it doesn't offend me at all. lol)
Happy holidays and know that you are loved and adored!
Peace & Love,
~Barb~

Luck of the draw! No censorship in art. It's a valid expression of frustration that was wholeheartedly felt at the time it was written.
That's all I have to say about that!

Thanks Barb and Raine. One thing not to worry about-I do not, have not and will not censor myself in my journals. I share them to show that we're all imperfect-it's what makes us human. We all have good days and bad days. If I want to say shit or fuck in my book, I will. If you don't like it, I'm sorry, but it is my journal. It some what summed up some of what I was feeling today so it was quite appropriate. My husband spent all of Christmas lying in bed sick so it was a shitty Christmas in that sense. The day wasn't what I imagined (I imagined him feeling better and being with us, instead of home in bed alone). Shit happens. Good stuff happens. I journal about everything-uncensored. Always have. Always will.

On the good side, I did see my family-some whom I hadn't seen in a long time. My Cousin Bev worked her ass off (as usual)and made it a really really nice afternoon at her home. It was good seeing my family. I just feel bad (and sad) that my husband is sick (a cold, but who wants that on Christmas or any holiday?)

Fabulous page, just how I feel and I've had such a miserable headache for a few days now and your picture looks just how I feel, clutching my head!! Super. SHIT to headaches and not enough time!!

I hope your hubby feels better Kelly. Wonderful page and oh so true, we can never have enough time. I appreciate that you don't censor your art. No one should and if they do what a pity for them. That's why I keep coming back to look at what you create. Keep up the great work.

One of the things I love about you Kelly-your work is always real. Not made for publication, prettied up to show off stuff. We know that alot of what is considered "art journaling" that is published is just that-art journaling made to be published. Thank you for always being you no matter what the venue.

Sorry to hear David is sick. Hope he feels better soon.
