Home again...off again...

Home from my wonderful weekend of teaching at The Artists Nook in Bellvue, CO. As always, I had the best time. Would you believe that I was so busy having fun that I forgot to take pictures?!?!?! I took a couple of the above shots from my first class. The classes were full of talented artists and the number of students seemed to grow and expand as each workshop began. We had a great time creating. I LOVE the space where the workshops are. I LOVE the store. It's just a great atmosphere, run by wonderful people. Thank you Christine. Thank you to my students. I can't wait to see you all again. Tracey had a great blog post about the weekend here.

I didn't take any pictures as we drove from CA to CO because I was the one doing all of the driving! Mom took a boatload of pictures which I hope to share with you soon.

Tomorrow we leave for Comic Con in San Diego. I will be blogging and checking email from the road! I wanted to share with you pictures of my new journal that I've been working in for the last week.I'll show you the inside pages starting tomorrow!

I wanted to give a shout out to The Paper Studio in AZ. They have some new collage assortment packs that are extremely cool!! They are chock full of GOOD stuff to use in art journals, collageing and mixed media art. I received mine while I was teaching in CO and couldn't believe the fun stuff that was inside!! Over $100 worth of goodies for $25 plus shipping! Check it out here.

My agenda for Comic Con is CRAZY busy. It looks like we have something planned for every minute we are there, between the three of us. I can't wait.

My Comic Con wish list books are
both James Jean books-
Process Recess 3
Kindling
Bwana Spoons Welcome To Forest Island

It is so awesome to see how your art continues to evolve! You are just too cool! I've been reading your posts in Google Reader and hadn't seen how awesome your sidebar graphics appear or known you were on Twitter!
