journal page from April 21, 2009

I painted over her hair in a couple of colors. I didn't like it 100% so I used watersoluble crayons and graphite crayons. I still didn't like it, so the other night, I added the spirals to it using a waterbased white Sharpie poster paint pen.
I had a great weekend teaching at Artful Living in Ojai and at The Art Bar!!! Thanks to both sets of students-you guys rocked!!!!!

Kelly,

I did a similar page last summer and I too used a butterfly over a girl's mouth signifying the right to speak your mind. You may not like what you hear...but it IS MY OPINION!!!! I'll have to scan the page and send you a copy. I did the page in the book you made me last summer at Ink About It.

Loved the class, Kelly. I'm committed to really working in this journal!
