3/30/09 journal page

Picked up a copy of Herakut: The Perfect Merge at Meltdown Comics on Sunset Blvd.

Also stopped by Golden Apple Comics on Melrose (twice, long story) and found out that William Shatner will be there on May 2 for Free Comic Book Day. Can you say that Tristan and I are both VERY excited! The damn line will probably be down the block and around the corner.

Speaking of events in Hollywood, I am very VERY excited to read about what the Academy will be offering for 10 weeks in May and June. Here's where I first read about it and there are links available here. I can't wait!!!!!!

FYI, for those of you in L.A. the Corita Kent exhibit ends this Saturday. More info here.

Great pages and I'm really loving this size of your journal.

Don't you just love lines? I know I don't but I fined myself in them all the time. :) Sounds like lots of fun anyway.

Thanks for the link yesterday to the Michelle Ward stamps for her friend. I ordered a set. Anything for a good cause.

The image of the woman at the top
of this post is absolutely
STUNNING!!!!! And I love that you had minimal journaling so that to pic really took center stage.

That's still a pretty good sized journal. How much larger have you made them!?!?!?

Lots of LOVE

Kelly, this page with the woman's back is breathtaking. I really love it. I'm thinking of getting a tattoo, and this looks like a perfect place. It's so beautiful the way you did it.

These two pages are stunning. I especially love the top one. The minimal journaling really makes her stand out. What a great image!

I saw the info for the Corita Kent exhibit in Juxtapose. Have you seen the exhibit???? If so, how was it???? I'd love to, but I'm on the wrong coast!
