Journal pages from last night-

One thing for sure, I will always speak my truth. I don't believe in censoring myself or my thoughts in my journals, so please do not be offended or take things out of context. My journal is my tool for thought, creativity and freedom of expression. It's one of my safe places. Freedom of thought and freedom to be yourself are extremely important to me, as are peace and the right to live (not the right to just exist, but the right to truly live).

beautifully said, as always, Kelly! You write/say things that are often in my 'head' as well-and right on with this f-ing heat. I'm done already!!!
Thanks for the inspiration.

It was 110 here today, and it's not even June yet! I am gobsmacked that I still live in the desert, but am here for my kids, so it's for a good reason. That doesn't mean I have to like it or accept it forever!! I HATE heat, too!! Actually, my comfort range is between 66 and 70 degrees. Believe me, I sympathize! I read once that the brain is wired to function optimally at 65 degrees. I believe that!!
